Meet the Founders
The Creative - Abbi
Founder of British interiors brand The Interiors Yard, Abbi has always been drawn to interiors that feel lived in rather than styled. Spaces that soften over time, where linen creases, wood wears, and nothing feels too precious.
Her approach is rooted in longevity. Creating homes that can be reimagined through the seasons, with pieces chosen not just for how they look, but for how they are used, every day.
The creative force behind Gathered Living, mum to her six-year-old daughter, Florrie, she balances family life with running a business - something she wouldn’t change for the world.
The Organiser - Ali
Co-founder of interiors brand MeanWhile…, Ali leads on the logistics behind Gathered Living, bringing a natural sense of organisation and balance to the business. From coordinating collections to ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes, her role is integral to how the brand operates day to day.
With her two boys recently leaving home, she is entering a new chapter where the home begins to shift and evolve.
Her perspective brings a sense of calm and practicality. Creating interiors that are considered, functional, and able to adapt as life changes.
The Host - Meg
Co-founder of interiors brand MeanWhile…, Megan is a natural host - there’s very little she can’t create in the kitchen. With her wedding to Jon on the horizon, her home is centred around gathering, hosting and celebrating.
The seasonal recipes you see throughout our campaigns are often inspired by Meg, shaped by her instinctive approach to cooking and her ability to bring people together with ease. A natural dreamer with a can-do attitude, she brings a sense of possibility to everything she creates. An outlook that continues to influence the spirit of Gathered Living.
